We, ISUZU MOTORS INTERNATIONAL FZE, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the United Arab Emirates and having its principal place of business at S50909 Jafza South Jebel Ali Free Zone P.O.BOX 263188 Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the trade license number of 122943 issued by JEBEL ALI FREE ZONE AUTHORITY ("Isuzu", "we", "us", "our"), recognize the importance and social nature related to the protection of personal data. This Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand our privacy practices when we collect and process your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you contact us through pages, sign up to our newsletter or purchase a product or service, including what personal data we collect, what personal data we use, how we share your personal data, and how we protect it, as well as your individual rights.

2. Who we are

ISUZU MOTORS INTERNATIONAL FZE is the controller and the entity responsible for your personal data and for this website. We have appointed a data privacy manager who is responsible for overseeing questions in relation to this privacy policy. 3. What Personal Data We Collect

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

  2. Purchase and customer service history (e.g., date of purchase, vehicle details, vehicle status);

  4. Vehicle data (e.g., vehicle identification number (VIN), device and service usage, vehicle configuration details, vehicle technical data, vehicle location data);
  5. Online activities data (e.g., internet protocol address, browsing actions and usage patterns, login data, cookies, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology or devices you use to access this website).
4. Failure to provide required data

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with goods or services). In this case, we may have to cancel a product or service you have with us but we will notify you if this is the case at the time.

5. How We Use Personal Data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  3. Where necessary to conduct our business and pursue our legitimate interests, provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests:
    • to send your personal data to distributors/dealers as requested (e.g., for business purposes, appointments to purchase vehicle related products);
    • to follow up with customer's enquiry/request;
    • to improve our websites, applications, services, and customer experiences; and
    • to ensure IT security including detecting and preventing fraud.
    In addition, we may also use your personal data when required to meet legal obligations.
6. How We Share Your Personal Data

For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, we may share your personal data with the following recipients:

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, we do not sell, trade, rent or otherwise share for marketing purposes your personal data with third parties without your consent. We do share personal data with vendors who are performing services for Isuzu, such as the servers for our email communications who are provided access to our user’s email address for purposes of sending emails from us. Those vendors use your personal data only at our direction and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Transfer of Your Personal Data

We may transfer your personal data through the channels to, and store such data in, other countries, which may have different data protection laws and regulations than the country in which the data was provided. Your personal data may also be processed by staff working for Isuzu group companies, distributors/dealers or third-party service providers, operating outside the country where the data was collected.

If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.

In general, we use non-personal data to help us improve the service and customize the user experience. We also aggregate non-personal data in order to track trends and analyze use patterns on the site. This Privacy Policy does not limit in any way our use and disclosure of non-personal data and we reserve the right to use and disclose such non-personal data to our partners, advertisers and third parties at our discretion.
